God, religion and the church has little relevance, but Jesus Christ is admired and respected.
Civilisation looks after all my needs, this is where the future lies.
INTRODUCTION
The chief idea that I offer is illustrated in this allegory. Through religion, the Creator whom humanity calls ‘God’ or by whatever religious title;has only achieved ‘eye contact’ with humanity via the conduit of religion, a language spoken by the Church centred upon the figure of Christ.
In the very creation of Western Civilisation, the Creator has achieved ‘what he really had in mind for all humanity, via the conduit of art and science, a language spoken by all of humanity, centred upon the figure of Adam.
The language of religion via Christ is a call to faith.
The language of civilisation via Adam is a call to duty.
Developed criteria.
In The Reformation the Almighty inspireda ‘definitive’ expression of religious consciousness, supremely articulated in the English speaking realm of Christendom via the King James Bible, the Book of Common Prayer and the Hymn Book. This resulted in creating the moral fabric codified under tradition or the Victorian era, sustaining deference and the call to faith.
In The Enlightenment, ( and its fabulous prelude The Renaissance,) the Almighty inspired the stature of humanity to become fit for purpose, to have dominion over all the earth, in effect to enable humanity to overcome all the demands of life in REAL TIME, articulated by the language of Art and the Sciences. This produced the Class System and the greatest characteristic of the British, reserve and the call to duty.
