Leadership to 'Save the West'
Just a few days before the last General Election, as I was preparing to become a Independent candidate in Southend West and Leigh, by chance I saw an article in BBC Live North about a couple whom dressed in 1940’s clothing, having married and furnished their new home with articles pertaining to that era, I immediately had a banner and flyers ready to go to Ditchingham to find couple with a view to interviewing them for the purposes of conveying to them my entire 8th Parliamentary candidacy was all about sustain the culture and social, moral, political values of that era. I drove 90 miles and first stopped at shop in unattractive village street in Ditchingham, to ask if anyone knew of this couple. They replied, yes they sometimes shop here and walk out down the street. My jaw dropped in amazement and consternation, having found them so quickly but the street lengthened about a mile long! Luck had it after knocking on the closest house to the shop a neighbour pointed across the road to denote where the couple lived, but added they were about to move. So I never got to speak to the couple, but providence had showed me once again I had done the right thing. What the couple had inadvertently done was to place a ‘marker’ on the integrity of my candidacy based upon securing that very era, which I had not known was in profusion on YouTube after my candidacy in October /November 2024.
After the General Election, I used Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer’s pledge, (one he keeps renewing,) of ‘A decade of national renewal’ to generate interest in my solo campaign to renew the foundations of the past 4-500 yrs, meaning the colonial era, and especially of the intrinsic values achieved by the British Empire. I had flyers printed and was about to begin my solo campaign when the terrible tragedy of Southport came to the media’s attention. The sorrow and tragedy of the three beautiful children killed inspired me to write a sonnet to their memory and as my chief manifesto in my candidacy was to inspire a Queen Elizabeth II Royal Arboretum juxtaposed to Stonehenge, as a learning centre to preserve the values of the colonial era in which trees could be planted by people whom lost a loved one in tragic and exceptional circumstance, such as the pandemic and Manchester and Birmingham bombings, I felt compelled that the tragedy of the three children killed in Southport merited to be the first trees to be named after them. At length I decided to spend a few days in Southport to see what the response would be. I booked for four nights in a local B&B, (unknowingly of the future King Charles III visit three days later). After a long 250 mile journey on Sunday 17th August 2024, I came down from my room the next morning and by chance met the housekeeper whom asked if everything was well. I said room was fine and I began to engage in small talk and was about to leave when sensing her welcoming nature I conveyed to her I had come with the express hope of passing some of my literature which I hope would help to console the terrible loss of the three children killed. To my astonishment she said her sister knew a friend whom actually taught one of the three children killed. I showed her three large Jiffy bags with the literature inside and an accompanying short note expressing my condolences to the three families. She said leave it to me to get the articles to the three families, but I implored her not place any form of pressure whatsoever on any of the three families and so she promised to do her best, but to this day I had not heard anything of her.
During my short stay, I regretted coming before the last funeral of Elsie Dot Stancombe which I had Googled but because I could not find any reports of it I thought it may have been a private funeral. As I strolled around the town I was amazed at its architecture, the Town Hall and especially its War Memorial and the splendid Lord Street. I stared at a large hotel sign of Scarisbrick Hotel and said to myself, I’ve been here before. Just some years ago my friend and I stayed at the nearby Pontings Holiday Camp, four nights for £40 each, (thanks to the Sun) it was an awful place and now condemned by the local council. But I knew I had been in Southport many years ago. Yes, it would be the late 1960’s when I was sent there by a former Church Army Officer, whom asked me to go there, as it was there he felt the hand of God directing his life and ministry, he felt by sending me there I may also feel some sense of God’s hand on my life. At the time I was part of a Team whom served local churches in Essex in a large Georgian mansion, in which some people felt I was being prepared to expand his work in another venue, thus that was the reason behind sending me to Southport. Having spent some days there I felt no sense of divine guidance whatsoever, only my total admiration for a very beautiful northern town, of which I had never visited, till recent decades. I spent only about two hours after King Charles III had left, with my banner and flyers in the high street. I had four very interesting responses. An elderly gentleman said of me I was taking advantage of a family tragedy to promote myself and ideas, which really hurt me. Another women dressed in flowing costume said evil exists in weak people, or words to that effect. A passing man said ‘That’s out of order’ as he pointed to my large poster, I did not know what he meant till later when I knew I had come before the last funeral. I think that’s what he meant. Lastly a long conversation with a man whom said of my idea of the arboretum as a learning centre to help migrants build a new country based upon the values of the colonial era he championed and interestingly ended, ‘Would it also entail migrants in Britain going back to their own original countries?’ I do not believe it implied any racism, but strangely a similar thought had entered my mind also, if my idea of the Royal Arboretum was successful, it could well result in immigrants going back to their native countries to build a new nation in their image based upon the values of the colonial era. My third visit to Southport I now understand is the very reason why I was led there over 55yrs ago is to begin my campaign to help ‘Save the West’ by promoting the Royal Arboretum juxtaposed to Stonehenge, beginning with a Children’ Passion Play of the colonial era, which could be dedicated to the memory of the three children killed in the Southport tragedy. My campaign can also mitigate the riots which as Southport sonnet ascribes; ‘The fury of violent ill intent, Lay waste the dignity of mourning’. However, amidst the riots lay dormant a genuine conversation regarding immigration, integration and racism, the very questions addressed in why divine providence has led me back to Southport.
This article was given by my hand to the London office of a well known cultural magazine, in the same week when on Friday 7th February 2025 I also dispatched by hand the same article to the Bishop of Chelmsford at the Chelmsford office.

i My return to Hornchurch after 70yrs
Early in January of 2025, I made a host of videos to promote my personal campaign to be considered as the next Archbishop of Canterbury, chiefly around London and in my own spare bedroom, having placed a astonishing ‘marker’ for this High Office when I deposited by hand to an empty Labour Party Office in Sutton Road Southend, asking the new elected MP Bayo Alaba to pass a letter to the Prime Minister the gist of which conveyed that I had been prepared by divine guidance since 1972 in readiness to be appointed as the next Archbishop of Canterbury. The amazing thing happened that very evening when I heard of the impending resignation of the presiding Archbishop of Canterbury, thus endorsing my action with immense precision. (Letter to PM in Politics in Menu.
I had actually as part of my main manifesto in the General Election of 2024, as an Independent, my 8th Parliamentary candidacy in Southend West and Leigh, since my first candidacy in Haltemprise and Howden of the by election in 2008, when the two chief aspects of every candidacy I stressed two main points. Firstly since late 1960’s I felt a deep sense of divine guidance which culminated in an assertion that Almighty God had bestowed upon myself a ‘Trinitarian Identity’ as the future Archbishop of Canterbury, Monarch and Pope to symbolise the collective founding values of the colonial era.
Thus in my 2024 candidacy I published a huge article in my website conveying how my leadership as the future Archbishop of Canterbury could give the Church of England a new lease of life.
In my manifesto I also stressed the need to create a Queen Elizabeth II Royal Arboretum adjacent to Stonehenge to symbolise how the colonial gave to humanity Modernity, via the joining of Art and Science to create all the vital infrastructures of a industrialised democracy in which Christianity would provide a vital moral compass to stabilise society. I had also crafted a ‘Reformation 2 Tuition Course’ with a adult Passion Play of this entire era with also a Children’s Passion Play of the same era. After the General Election I promptly picked up the Prime Minister’s political maxim of ‘A decade of national renewal’ in which I ascertained it was equally important to ‘Renew the theological belief/thinking’ of Christianity to emphasise that Christ did not atone for ‘Original Sin’ rather he attained for our evolutionary development, (as prescribed by Charles Darwin) which for example would settle the issue of gay marriage which under the acceptance of ‘ Original Sin’ would be prohibitive, but if one is born gay there should be no objection at all.
The Royal Arboretum had three chief objectives. Firstly, it was to secure the legacy of the British Empire, as enacted in Princess Elizabeth’s 21st birthday speech, but as she became Queen Elizabeth II and reigned for over 70yrs, it would not be right to maintain the ‘colonial’ image of the British Empire rather what founded its remarkable achievements was I believe the above theological affirmations. Secondly it would become a training centre to offer immigrants a ‘Fast track’ learning curve of British culture to help integration more swiftly and smoothly. The third was to enable people whom died in exceptional circumstance such as the pandemic of 2020 and the ensuing tragic deaths on the Manchester and Birmingham bombings, for their families to plant a tree in the arboretum to commemorate their lives. Each tree be named after the person commemorated, with a name of a person whom they admired during that era, say a composer like Handel, painter like Rembrandt or composer like Mozart. It could also include the name of a slave whom suffered during the colonial era. Finally the tree would also be given a Latin name and also named after a hymn from my ‘Tuition Course’. The simple idea was to create a living learning centre of the values accrued during the colonial era.
When the terrible tragedy of the three children killed in Southport I immediately felt compelled to visit as soon as possible after the funerals to place a ‘marker’ on the this idea in which in future the community of Southport and the parents could be invited to discuss the proposal for the Royal Arboretum in which the three children could be the first to be commemorated. The only mistake I made was to come inadvertently before the last funeral, in which I had researched in the internet for the funeral of Elsie Dot Stamcombe which I could not trace but had believed it would be a private funeral. Again providence put me in touch with people whom actually taught one of the children whom was killed and so I left it to the two people I managed to contact to pass the literature I had brought to offer my condolences to the bereaved families, with a Southport Sonnet dedicated to the memory of the three children
In early February I felt the pain of knowing that all my contacts where being unlawfully interrupted with a view of ensuring the people I contacted were persuade Not to support me in any way. However I proceeded to ignore their assaults on my freedom. Just this past week ending 9th February 2025 I went into the offices of a major cultural magazine and gave by hand to the secretary, whom said, ‘This is unprecedented’ but was kind enough to allow me to pass on the papers in the article below, (except for my recent visit to Hornchurch). On the Friday of February 7th 2025 I drove to Chelmsford cathedral and gave the same articles as below to the Bishop of Chelmsford. I had in mind to visit Hornchurch many times but I decided after the above actions I had ready a petition for people to support me in and so having done all the above I was now ready to make my first visit to Hornchurch since we first lived in the wooden barracks of RAF Hornchurch, our first place of abode in England from our departure from Shanghai in 1954.
My intention was simply to garnish enough support from folk in Hornchurch so that I may go back to Southport with sufficient momentum with the simple proposal for the children of Southport to perform the Children’s Passion Play to commemorate the three children killed in Southport. This I felt would help to bring some comfort to the three families and a sense of pride to Southport, in which a beautiful town would not be associated with tragedy and riots, but something bustling with life and purpose. Once a gain just before I set off on Sunday morning of the 9th February 2025, I was again overcome with the main front page of the Sunday Times which gave a huge report of one of the families of the three children killed in Southport. The simple reason why I had decided to visit Hornchurch now and not before, is to make a ‘Marker’ that since our arrival to England from China in 1954, Almighty God had guided our family to come here so that I can give to people a new understanding of what God had done for humanity with Christ. After 70yrs I had acted with perfect timing, in the same instance in my letter to the Prime Minster on the same day as the impending resignation of the presiding Archbishop of Canterbury, in which ‘ Events dear boy, events’ had once again throughout my life endorsed almost all the time what I was about. Is it not strange again, I just noticed as I write this article on the 11th February 2025, Sutton Road in Southend and Suttons Lane in Hornchurch both have the same street names!
Extra note. Yesterday 12th February 2025, I handed flyers to Synod members coming out of Church House in London, I noticed a huge building which housed the Department of Education and consolidated my thinking regarding what to do next.
