Welcome to my website. Someone once said, 'Ask not what your country can do for you-ask what you can do for your country. In the Menu is a sample of what I can do for the Church of England, were I to become the next Archbishop of Canterbury.
Generally speaking, flags at half mast signals the end of an era relative to what it can mean to each of us. By inviting local dignitaries and a vicar around a Town Hall to symbolically take down a flag at half mast above a Town Hall and consecrate it to symbolise our collective pride. The mayor of the town then raises a Union Jack to symbolise a new beginning. Crowds then sing Blessed be our nation and Raise the colours anthem and other items from Revive-all booklet. This could be implemented the afternoon of Remembrance Day, to show respect and also a ‘New beginning.’ Rightly, Remembrance Day recognises our pride and gratitude for those fallen to protect our freedom and liberties and a culture which is immensely acquainted of the past 4-500yrs which may be summarise as the colonial era. The festival of Remembrance emulates in song and verse a culture represented by anthems, hymns and sonnets given a rebirth in the likeness of that era, thus sustaining that legacy as our 'Mark of honour and pride.'
On the afternoon of Remembrance Sunday AND at Christmas we place the emphasise on the CULTURE created during the colonial era to give Christianity greater relevance and meaning
